Insider threats include sabotage, theft, espionage, and fraud are often carried out through abusing access rights, theft of materials, and mishandling physical devices.
Insider Threats also may include workplace violence attacks which disrupt an organizations business operations.
It is vital that organizations understand normal employee baseline behaviors to identify potential red flags.
ALMAC, in partnership with the INDIAN VALLEY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, will be hosting a conference to discuss the following:
•Likelihood of an Insider Attack
•Potential harm
•Warning signs
•Personality characteristics of an attacker
•Physical and cyber controls that can put in place to mitigate risks
•Challenges in organizing an Insider Threat Team
