SUMMARY:HR Roundtable - Candidate Recruitment & Employee Retention
DESCRIPTION:While the Great Resignation may be over\, some of the post-Covid dynamics that many employers experienced are unfortunately still a reality. Employers in many sectors are still having trouble filling positions\, and the inexplicable and frustrating trend of being "ghosted" by scheduled interviewees can prolong the recruitment cycle for difficult-to-fill positions. Keeping pace with generational expectations around work\, flexibility\, pay and benefits is as much of a challenge as ever\, and many employers are feeling a level of exhaustion between recruitment and retention challenges. Add Artificial Intelligence to the mix\, particularly with recruitment engines and candidate screening\, and the dynamics become even more complex.\n\n \n\nJoin us for another lively and engaging HR Roundtable session\, and share your approaches and questions in addressing these and other important HR issues.\n\n\n\nOur thanks to Univest for sponsoring this event!\n\n \n\n\n\nJim Devine - Univest Insurance HR Practice Leader\n\nJim is an attorney and human resources executive with over 25 years of experience\, serving in various legal and human resources capacities throughout his career. Jim previously served as President and CEO of of the MidAtlantic Employers' Association "MEA" \, a member-based organization serving small to mid-sized employers in the tri-state area. Most recently Jim was the director of HR compliance and ethics officer for Olympus corporation of the Americas in Center Valley\, PA. His vast industry knowledge includes workplace policy development and HR compliance as well as design\, delivery of training programs focused on a variety of compliance-related topics\, ranging from harassment prevention\, to ethics and integrity best practices. \n\n\n\nPlease note that this month's location will be at the UNIVEST TRAINING CENTER - 1715 Sumneytown Pike in Kulpsville. The Roundtable will be meeting on the second floor (Grandview Urgent Care on first floor).
