Description
About Bruce Musselman, Musselman Financial Solutions: Bruce graduated from Souderton Area High School in 1973 and Mansfield State University in 1978 with a degree in Criminal Justice. In March of 1979 he went to work for Hatfield Quality Meats as a Human Resource Manager and worked with the Company for 27 years. His primary role with the Company was administering the Company Benefit programs, which included the Profit Sharing and 410(K) plan.
Bruce was a past Board Member of the Profit-Sharing Council of America, serving on the Legal and Legislative Committee and as a frequent presenter at their National Conferences. It was in this role; Bruce really began his financial planning career as many of the employees sought his advice on retirement concerns and investment strategies.
In 2006, Bruce left the Company and began his own Financial Planning practice – it was a natural fit for his skill set. He opened an office in Lansdale, PA and by the end of his first year, the business served around 30 clients, and he managed over $10 million in client assets. As the business continued to grow, in 2015 Bruce moved his office to Harleysville, PA where he had grown up as a child and had great name recognition.
In 2015 he was helping over 200 families and needed to add staff to handle existing clients and new growth. His son Justin and wife Janet entered the business first, followed by Vito Martutartus, Bill Roth and most recently Brad Garges and Josh Hartline.
The name of the business changed to Musselman Financial Solutions in 2015, and this was meant to be different than other firms who typically provide only Wealth or Investment Management. Today we work with over 360 families and manage $120 million in assets. The key to success has been the Firm’s unique approach to solve client’s financial and planning concerns first before determining the alignment of the investment assets.
