Souderton Area High School S.A.V.E. (Students Against Violating the Earth) Spring Community Recycling Day will be held at West Broad Elementary School on Saturday, May 4th from 9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. 

Many "difficult to recycle" items are being collected at our event. See below and our flyer for a list of accepted items.

DROP OFF ANY OF THE FOLLOWING (Fees may apply):

● LAPTOP COMPUTERS (NO DESKTOPS, NO TV’s)
● PLUGS & WIRING
● CELL PHONES (We take all cell phones for safe & secure recycling, broken or working)
● APPLIANCES ($5 charge with Freon)
● CAR / Marine BATTERIES
● TIRES ($3 without rim, $5 with rim, additional charge for oversized tires)
● SCRAP METAL (Any items if 60% metal or more)
● PLANT CONTAINERS (Nursery pots of all sizes, terracotta or plastic)
● GARDENING TOOLS & USED GLOVES
● CD’s AND DVD’s (ALL CONDITIONS)
● OLD MOVIES (VHS), VIDEO GAMES VIDEO GAME SYSTEMS
● GENTLY USED SCHOOL SUPPLIES (school bags as well)
● USED MARKERS (Sharpies, Expo, Crayola, etc.)
● USED SPORTS EQUIPMENT
● SHOES (must be wearable)
● BOOKS (NO TEXTBOOKS OR ENCYCLOPEDIAS)
● USB FLASH DRIVES (remove all data)
● GENTLY USED TOYS & GAMES, STUFFED ANIMALS (for reuse)
● FISH / REPTILE TANKS & accessories

If you have hazardous waste (paint, pesticides, solvents, cleaners, etc.), a hazardous waste event is being held the same day by Montgomery County Recycling Commission at Indian Valley Middle School.  You can access their list of accepted materials at www.montgomerycountyrecycles.org
