In its eighth consecutive year, the St. Luke’s Summer Meals Program will be providing free lunches in Allentown and Quakertown to ensure every school-age child has access to nutritious meals during the summer months.St. Luke’s Community Health Department launched the Summer Meals program in response to the Network’s Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA), which showed that more than half of students in the Allentown and Quakertown Community School Districts are eligible for free and reduced meals during The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit health care ratings organization, today released new Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades, awarding A’s to every eligible legacy St. Luke’s acute care hospital.The 12 campuses – Bethlehem, Allentown, Anderson, Carbon, Easton, Grand View, Monroe, Miners, Sacred Heart, Upper Bucks and Warren, as well as Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital – were among a select group of hospitals across the nation awarded an A for their commitment to keeping patients safe and meeting the highest Chamber members have access to leadership and workforce training courses and certificate programs designed to enhance skills and drive business success. Available through the Chamber’s participation in Delaware Valley University’s Educational Partnership Program (DelVal EPP), these programs are available to you at a discounted cost.
