Founder Roger North Steps Out of Ownership; Jerry Murray Continues as President

North Group Consultants, a firm known for guiding organizations through leadership transitions, has completed a major transition of its own. As of April 2025, founder Roger North has officially stepped out of ownership and leadership of the firm he established in 1997. Jerry Murray, who was named President in 2021, continues to lead the organization forward from its Lititz, Pennsylvania office.
This transition marks a significant milestone in North Group’s ongoing commitment to organizational health and leadership development. For more than 25 years, the firm has guided businesses and nonprofits toward their highest potential through leadership transitions, culture development, and strategic growth. Now, having navigated its own leadership succession, North Group brings even deeper insight and empathy to the clients it serves.
 “We’ve spent the last decade preparing for this moment and have taken great care to do this well. Healthy and effective leadership transitions are hard work,” said Murray. “Roger began something enduring that has impacted our community deeply and our team is honored and energized to continue to instill hope throughout our region as we develop leaders and their organizations toward their highest potential. Our values haven’t changed, but we’re excited to apply fresh strategies and perspectives to help our clients thrive.”

North Group relocated to its current Lititz office in 2017, positioning the firm for continued growth in service to clients across the region and beyond. Today, the team includes 23 employees, 17 of whom serve as consultants.
